Juanito "Jonvic" Remulla is a Filipino politician and the current Governor of Cavite Province, Philippines. He was born on December 17, 1970, in Silang, Cavite. Before entering politics, he worked as a broadcaster and a news reporter. He was also a professor at the De La Salle University-Dasmariñas.
Remulla started his political career as the mayor of Tagaytay City, Cavite, from 1998 to 2007. He also served as a Congressman of the 2nd District of Cavite from 2007 to 2016 before assuming the governorship in 2019.
During his term as governor, Remulla has focused on promoting public health, infrastructure development, and environmental conservation. He has led several initiatives, such as the creation of the Cavite Heroes Hill Memorial Park and the rehabilitation of Manila Bay.
Remulla is affiliated with the Nacionalista Party. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts from the University of Santo Tomas and his Master's degree in Public Administration from the Philippine Christian University.
